Staycation in NORTH MIAMI BEACH
North Beach, the relaxed Miami Beach neighborhood, which runs from 60th Street up to the town of Surfside, moves at a leisurely pace. North Beach has a small-town feel and offers family fun and relaxation. You won’t see the Art Deco buildings like those that characterize South Beach in this largely residential area. The striking architectural style is known as Miami Modernism (MiMo) Architecture. As this area is primarily residential, you may have fewer people with whom to share this broad beach. North Beach has the largest concentration of Miami Modern (MiMo) buildings and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Housing in Mid Miami Beach
Millionaire’s Row is a stretch of palatial waterfront mansions lining North Bay Road. Stretching from 44th to 59th Streets along the community’s main street, with the Atlantic Ocean in their back yards. These 41 homes began to take shape in the 1910’s, reaching completion in the late 1930’s. Once anchored by two significant properties, the Snowden Estate and the exclusive Bath Club, today the current anchors are the spectacular Fontainbleau Hotel (built on the Snowden Estate property) and the ever thriving refurbished Bath Club. High society parties, colorful lunches, and lavish receptions were all held at Iconic Millionaires’ Row.
Staycation in SOUTH BEACH MIAMI
South Beach, from 5th to 23rd streets, is the place to visit. Here you can expect loads of visitors and festivities. South Beach is famous. Cosmopolitan visitors continue to return to its vibrant nightlife. Lummus Park on South Beach is a great vacation spot. With its emerald sea, pure white sand, and miles of palm trees, you may never want to leave this paradise. On weekends, visitors can find beachfront market stands selling a wide array of crafts. The Art Deco Historic District of South Beach is the first urban historic district added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Staycation in SOUTH POINTE BEACH AND PARK, MIAMI
Near South Beach, South Pointe Beach is part of South Pointe Park. A 17-acre waterfront park that occupies the southernmost tip of Miami Beach. South Point Park is a picturesque place to relax, unwind and spend time with loved ones. This family-friendly park offers many free amenities for visitors. A popular haven for beach lovers, South Pointe is approximately a 20 minute walk from Ocean Drive. If you become too hot basking in the sun and surf on the beach, simply head into the park and take advantage of one of its many shaded pavilions.
The famous 55 foot tall “Obstinate Lighthouse” sculpture by artist Tobias Rehberger is located here. Imagine a city park with walking paths, benches, and palm trees. South Pointe’s Pier, jutting 450 feet into the Atlantic Ocean, offers great fishing, or an amazing view of the coast. Favored by anglers, this pier has wash and bait stations, and recycling bins for fishing lines.

Enjoy panoramic views from the pier of South Beach, Fisher Island, PortMiami, Downtown Miami, and cruise ships sailing out to the Atlantic Ocean. Watch the kids play on the jungle gym. Family-friendly, take your pet to Bark Park for dogs! Stroll on the 20-foot-wide promenade popular among walkers, runners and cyclists. Cooking out, use the picnic area and barbecue at your disposal. There is truly something for everyone here.
